By creating an account and using Friendly Teacher App ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must read and accept these terms on your behalf. The Service is an AI-powered academic coaching tool designed for students in Grades 1 through 12.
Friendly Teacher App provides personalized curriculum guidance, study plans, adaptive assessments, revision suggestions, and learning activities generated by artificial intelligence. The Service is offered under a freemium model with a free Basic Plan and paid Premium and Family Plans. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes — the Service is a supplementary learning tool, not a replacement for formal education.
You must provide accurate information during registration, including your grade level and subjects. We collect this information solely to personalize your learning experience. Student data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable child privacy laws including COPPA and FERPA. Parents may request access to, modification of, or deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us.
The Premium Plan costs $9.99/month and the Family Plan costs $19.99/month, billed through Stripe. No free trial is offered. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for billing errors.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the AI systems, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors — always verify important information through your school or educational materials.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any academic decisions made based on AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
