We collect the information you provide during registration and onboarding: your name, email, grade level, subjects, learning style, and areas where you need help. We also collect usage data including assessment results, study plan progress, mood check-ins, and learning patterns — all used to personalize your experience.
Your data is used exclusively to: (a) generate personalized curriculum guidance and study plans, (b) adapt assessment difficulty and content to your performance and engagement, (c) suggest revision topics, (d) track and display your progress, and (e) improve the quality of our AI-generated content. We never sell your data to third parties.
Friendly Teacher App is designed for students in Grades 1–12, which includes children under 13. We comply with COPPA and FERPA requirements. For users under 13, a parent or guardian must consent to data collection during registration. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the educational service. Parents can review, export, or delete their child's data at any time.
All student data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and the AI systems that generate your learning content. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your credit card information.
Our AI uses your grade, subjects, performance history, and mood signals to generate personalized content. Your individual data is not used to train public AI models. Assessment answers and learning patterns are used only to improve your personal experience and to provide aggregate, anonymized analytics.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Students and parents can export all data or delete the account from the app settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
